ZX9R Exhaust on Z1000
I know certain ZX9 exhaust systems will work fine on a Z1000, others need modification, and some not at all. Will either of these two systems work on an 06 Z1000?

A few guys have ZX-9 full systems on their Z1000's. If you want to use these then you need to get a system from an 02-03 ZX-9. you can get a stock header ZX-9 header & use a aftermarket slipon or buy a full aftermarket system. Must be 02-03.

zx9 header on a 03 z1000??
I'm a little confused from reading this. What years will fit on a 03 z1000?? 00-03?02-03?98-03???????????????? I would like to find out for sure because I'm trying to buy a full exhaust soon.
Also what mods are involved in getting it mounted or does it bolt right up????? |
